In cooperation with key administrative offices, we provide consulting, development assistance, and resources for distribution and analysis information collection surveys to support administrative initiatives. This may include assistance with defining questions and question types, selecting the sample population, designing the survey instrument, recommending appropriate incentives, analyzing the responses, compiling stakeholder and public reports, recommending a realistic timeline, identifying partners across campus, and highlighting existing resources that may already answer the proposed questions.
Benefits
By providing central support we are able to educate the community on which data is already collected, ensuring crucial populations are not over-surveyed. We reduce survey fatigue, safeguard against inappropriate data use and distribution, facilitate communications between key stakeholders, reinforce IRB approval as required, and help maximize survey response rates.
