Lee Waskevich – ePlus

Lee Waskevich provides consultant and architect level expertise centered on Security Technology, methodology, and architecture as well as integration aspects leveraging emerging technologies such as cloud and software defined networking.

He is currently employed at ePlus Technology as Sr Director, Architecture on the Business Transformation team.  The business transformation team addresses customer’s business challenges and helps organizations address the complexity in today’s technology trends and enables businesses to transform themselves leveraging cloud, mobility and software to achieve tangible results.  His primary focus is on developing solutions and integrating with emerging areas of technology such as cloud, big data, and software defined networks. Other responsibilities include building relationships with customers/partners centered on tackling complex issues in both Information Security and digital transformation. He holds multiple CCIE certifications along with an active CISSP certification.

Dan Adams – AT&T

Dan is a Enterprise Mobility Management segment lead supporting our Global and Northeast/Central Government, Education, Healthcare segments.  Prior to this role, he was a Mobile Applications Consultant supporting the Signature Client Group (Fortune 500 accounts). He has been successful in delivering Strategic Services, Channel Development, Healthcare Mobilization, Security Compliance and Technology Risk.

Prior to AT&T, Dan worked for a number of software and consulting companies focused on compliance management and mobility security in a multitude of roles including COO, Founder and Managing Director.   At Verizon Business, he served as the Group Channel and Product Manager for a portfolio that focused on the Healthcare and Finance verticals in security, wireless, networking and consulting. Dan has also worked for KPMG, WebMD and Curaspan Health Group.  Given this diverse experience, he brings a vast knowledgebase of expertise to Mobile Security team.

Dan holds an MBA from The University of Chicago (Booth School of Business), Masters in Engineering & Bachelors of Science from Cornell University.

Gerard Shockley – Boston University

Gerard Shockley is part of the Enterprise Architecture and Systems team at Boston University focusing on analysis, selection and deployment of Secure, Scalable and Innovative cloud based platforms.

Renault Ross – Symantec Corporation

Renault Ross is a Distinguished Engineer and serves as the Chief Cybersecurity Business Strategist for North America. In this role, Ross leads information security and privacy thought-leadership discussions and strategies, increasing Symantec’s presence in public and private sector.

Ross represents Symantec as a conference keynote speaker, State Senate expert witness providing testimonies along with CxO briefings around the country on security best practices. His expertise lies in enterprise security management, virtualization and cloud.

Prior to Symantec, Ross worked as a global security & privacy architect at a private company located in Atlanta, GA. His duties included establishing the organization’s first global security program with compliance, vulnerability management and incident response.

Ross holds many certifications including, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified HIPAA Security Specialist (CHSS), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Symantec Certified Specialist (SCS), Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK), and VMware Certified Professional (VCP5).

Roy Wattanasin – Brandeis University

Roy Wattanasin is an adjunct faculty at Brandeis University in both the Health and Medical Informatics and Information Security graduate programs. He spends most of his time leading, teaching and developing information security programs, finding vulnerabilities, performing incident response and working on many projects. Roy has spoken at many conferences including RSA, ISSA International, Source Conference, Braintank, Cyber Security World, OWASP and the Security BSides conferences. He is also a healthcare information security professional. He was a mentor for a Proving Ground speaker at BSides Las Vegas in 2015.

 Ming Chow – Tufts University

Ming Chow is a Senior Lecturer at the Tufts University Department of Computer Science. His areas of work are in web and mobile engineering and web security. He was a web application developer for ten years at Harvard University. Ming has spoken at numerous organizations and conferences including the High Technology Crime Investigation Association – New England Chapter (HTCIA-NE), the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General (AGO), John Hancock, OWASP, InfoSec World, DEF CON, Intel, SOURCE Conference, and BSides Boston. He was a mentor for a Proving Ground speaker at BSides Las Vegas in 2014 and 2015.

Pat Cain – Cooper-Cain Group

Pat Cain of the Cooper-Cain Group, is a security consultant that has supported many fine local institutions as they improve their security posture. He is currently keeping multiple Arcsight, snort, bro, and VPN installations functioning at multiple universities; is playing with elasticsearch for large event log storage; and spends his free time as an APWG fraud-fighter.

Justin Pagano – Rapid7

Justin Pagano, Information Security Lead at Rapid7, is a tall guy who loves dogs. He’s also very passionate about InfoSec, science, grammar, and Oxford commas.

 Julian DeFronzo – Rapid7

Julian DeFronzo is a Security Engineer at Rapid7 with a diverse background in network security monitoring, incident response, and data analysis. He loves building microservices and playing with data. He is an avid runner and a BBQ enthusiast.
