IS&T offers a number of services that directly support teaching and learning, including classroom technology, learning management systems, e-portfolios, classroom lecture capture systems, audience/student response systems, and assessment systems. Educational Technologists are available to help faculty optimize use of these systems.

These services focus on making teaching and learning more effective, both in the classroom and online, and on simplifying many aspects of course management.

IS&T supports the classroom experience with a variety of audio and video equipment, and can help you record presentations and make them available on the BU Echo360 server, Blackboard, podcasts, or iTunes U. Scanning services are available for test scoring, course evaluations, and surveys and data collection. The Educational Technologies governance committee provides oversight.
