When new content is added to MyMedia, download functionality is turned off by default.
Important: Once you enable the download feature, anyone with access to the video will be able to download it.
Enable downloading for the content
To download your own media from Kaltura, you first must enable downloading for the content you want to download:
- Login to your media at https://mymedia.bu.edu/my-media
- Browse to the content you want to download, and then select the Edit icon on the right:
- On the next page, look for the Download tab below the video
- Select the desired download options; to download the file in its original format, select Source Only
- Click Save.
- Select Go to Media where you will be brought back to the Media page
- Select the Download tab beneath the video to download the content.
