      Statistics and Computer Science.
I am really grateful for being one of the team. It has been an amazing experience for me to work on those fascinating projects and learned a lot in terms of how to think and solve problem in systematic and technical ways. Thank you so much for being so responsible, kind, and supportive, and always being there to help us grow and learn. I’ll start my new journey with all these memories and everything I've learned here.
    • Jiachuan Wu Jiachuan Wu (Class of 2024)
Computer Science major with a minor in Business Administration.
I joined the Research Computing Services department in January and worked until my graduation. During the internship, I focused on learning the Linux system and designing bash commands to automate testing for various software packages. I also had the opportunity to contribute to a project aimed at visualizing network data. Throughout this experience, I gained extensive knowledge not only of the Linux system but also of computing clusters as a whole. The entire team exhibited enthusiasm for our work and was always willing to help us solve various problems. We held regular team-based and individual-based meetings each week to discuss issues encountered during testing and to share new domain knowledge. Therefore, I greatly cherish the opportunity to have been a part of this program and would love to recommend it to other students enthusiastic about computing.
