After years of planning and patience, the Student Information Systems (SIS) Renewal program has been formally approved by the University President and Provost to move forward into implementation.

BU student lifecycle begins with admit, then educate, finance, and finally graduate.

Working with our selected implementation partner Deloitte, the program will implement Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, a widely deployed current SIS, to replace our aging mainframe system.

In addition to Campus Solutions, we also plan to implement a few closely related systems to support and enhance student services. These will include new software to support BU technology account creation & management, graduate admissions processes, student employment, and student information reporting.

The overall SIS Renewal program will impact many areas of the BU student service experience, from being admitted to making an academic plan with an advisor, registering for classes, tracking academic progress, and graduating.

The changes will be implemented in phases, the first of which will come in Summer 2022, finishing in Winter 2023.
