Advice to the Class of 2019: “Make a Difference in the World”
Commencement season is largely about rituals. And we here at BU Today have a few of our own. Each spring, as the days get longer and the world around us starts to bloom, it follows that graduation is around the corner, so we reach out to some of the University’s faculty and staff, asking them to take a moment to reflect and share some words of advice and encouragement with our soon-to-be graduates. Their messages may be funny, inspiring, practical, profound, but are always heartfelt. So take a moment to watch our video. And to each of this year’s 7,508 graduates, we extend our warmest wishes as you prepare to close one chapter of your life and begin the next. Best of luck to you.
