Val Ocean is deeply fascinated by the sounds of poetry, finding inspiration in the musicality and rhythm of languages across cultures. A translator of Russian poetry, Val draws inspiration from the works of Pushkin, Baratynsky, Mandelstam, Akhmatova, Kushner among others. His passion for spoken word has developed over many years, beginning in school and led Valery to join a local radio station, where he eventually became the editor-in-chief. With a diverse career that spans technology and education, Val now dedicates himself to enriching American culture by bringing new voices from other cultures into the literary landscape.
