UBMS goes to the N.E.U.R.O.N. Conference at Quinnipiac University

Last weekend 7 UBMS students attended the NorthEast Under/graduate Research Organization for Neuroscience Conference which was hosted at Quinnipiac College in Hamden, CT.  Students enjoyed famous New Haven pizza on the campus of Yale University and attended conference sessions including:  Saving Your Brain:  How Learning Keeps New Neurons Alive by Dr. Shors from Rutgers university and Animal Insect Brain Primer – Specialized Senses for Navigation by Dr. Zee from Northeastern University.  The UBMS students also spoke to  students from several different colleges who were presenting posters on the research they are doing as undergraduates.
