Register for Your Orientation Session
Once you've completed the steps on the Registration Checklist, you'll be able to pick an Orientation session. Registration for Fall 2025 Orientation will go live in May 2025 on your MyBU Student Portal.

Orientation gives you a glimpse of life on our campus. There's a lot to see and do, so prepare for your adventure. Read up on your destination — review the materials on this site that will give you access to the people, interactions, and memories-in-the-making that await you. Dress like the locals — start wearing your scarlet and white. Check your gear and know how to use it — make sure your technology is up and running so you can get where you're going. You'll be with us in no time. We can't wait.

Orientation Registration Opens
May

As soon as you have created your BU email, register for Orientation session via your MyBU Student Portal. The registration will open on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 10am EST.
Fall Orientation Registration Ends
July
1
Registration for Fall 2025 Orientation will close on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. For students starting in Spring 2026, registration will close on Monday, December 1, 2025.
Online Orientation Course Due
July
1
Students starting in Fall 2025 must complete the Online Orientation Course by Tuesday, July 1, 2025. Students starting in Spring 2026 need to complete the course by Monday, December 1, 2025. The course will go live in May 2025.
