Overview
We have an additional opening in the lab.
We are looking for a motivated undergraduate student to work on studying the effect of Down Syndrome on neuronal activity using hiPSC-derived organoid models. The student will have the opportunity to actively participate in experimentation, data analysis, and scientific discussion in an engaging lab environment. The project will be primarily focused on the analysis of neuronal activity in the organoids as reflected by calcium imaging. After the training, the analysis can be done remotely. There is also ample scope for the student to expand their technical expertise and research knowledge by choosing to be involved in other current projects in the lab.
Prior experience with image analysis, and MATLAB, as well as programming skills would be beneficial.
The volunteering position is available immediately.
For those deciding to apply, please send your CV along with your availability hours.
