First Gen Students: Finals Study Break on Friday, May 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Calling all first gen students to the last event for the 2013-2014 academic year!  Stop by the USC for our end of semester study break, Friday, May 2, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Enjoy a short respite from finals and papers, grab a snack or two, and say goodbye to friends before you head separate ways for the summer. Final exams are just around the corner, so join other first gen students as student ambassadors from the Educational Resource Center present their Test Preparation/Managing Test Anxiety Workshop! Take advantage of the ERC’s expertise and learn about time management, study strategies, test preparation, and managing stress!

February Drop In Topic: Financial Assistance

It’s that time of year! Taxes need to be filed and your FAFSA and other aid application forms must be completed. Connect with fellow first gens, enjoy snacks, and get your questions answered about finances, budgeting, and the aid application process.  Special guest Senior Assistant Director Christina Coviello of Financial Assistance will join us. Cold Fashioned Ice Cream Social

Students, Faculty, and Staff:  President Brown and Dean Elmore invite you to Cummington Mall on Friday, May 3rd at 4 p.m. for a study break. It's a Cold Fashioned Ice Cream Social. Ice cream (and other sugary treats), music and games to thank you and to finally breathe out. 

First gens, you can join us for the USC Study Break in CAS 226 and then go right across the street for the ice cream social.....
