BU Dermatology Telehealth

Whether you have a busy schedule or an urgent (but non-emergency) need, virtual appointments make access to board-certified dermatologists easier, faster and more convenient than ever.  The staff at the Boston University Dermatology Department at BMC are offering telephone and tele-video consultation appointments for both children and adults.

These virtual appointments can address:

• Skin, hair and nail conditions such as acne, dermatitis, vascular birthmarks, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema and rashes
• Spot checks of moles and skin cancers
• Skin rashes in babies and children
• Prescription refill requests
• Cosmetic Dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery consultations

Appointments are available within 1 week with Board-certified Pediatric and Specialty Dermatologists, and they’ll arrange an interpreter if needed. Additionally, in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, both of the Boston University health plans do not require copays for telehealth visits.
