BU Wheelock Launches Partnerships with Everett and Brookline Schools
BU Wheelock recently established new educational partnerships with two Massachusetts school districts. The programs support the professional development of teachers and other school employees from Everett and Brookline public school districts by making graduate-level programs more financially accessible.
Faculty and staff employed by Everett and Brookline public schools are now eligible to receive a partnership scholarship equal to 33% off tuition for BU Wheelock’s master’s, graduate certificate programs, or Certificates of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS). Application fees are also waived for employees of these partner institutions.
“These partnerships make higher education programs more accessible to teachers and other members of the community,” says Ryan Lovell, BU Wheelock’s assistant dean for academic affairs. “They are a great way to effect positive change in our communities and beyond.”
These new partnerships with Everett and Brookline add to the college’s existing relationships with Boston Public Schools, a select group of independent and charter schools in the Greater Boston area, and several organizations, including City Year and Teach for America.
