The Early Childhood program at Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development provides a solid background in child development, educational techniques, curriculum planning, and other essential tools for teachers, researchers, policy makers, and other professionals in the early childhood field.
Through a robust blend of theory and hands-on fieldwork experiences, students will be prepared to succeed as early childhood educators who can work and communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and other professionals. They’ll also learn about the impact of national and regional policies on early childhood education and how to integrate culturally sensitive, inclusive, and anti-oppression approaches in their classrooms and practices.
