
Clare Fitzgerald
Undergraduate Program Manager, College Access & Student Success
Clare Fitzgerald is the undergraduate program manager for College Access & Student Success (CASS). Ms. Fitzgerald works with CASS’s 640+ undergraduate students across BU’s schools and colleges, who come to campus via Boston University’s partnerships with school districts and community-based organizations with a college access focus, to bring underrepresented students to enroll in and thrive at BU. Ms. Fitzgerald recruits, trains, and supports over 140 faculty and staff mentors who work directly with these students. Ms. Fitzgerald has been with CASS since its inception in fall 2017.
Before coming to BU Wheelock, Ms. Fitzgerald was the Executive Assistant to the Vice President and Associate Provost for Enrollment & Student Administration at BU. There, she served as the Vice President’s Chief of Staff, managing initiatives in admissions, retention, and engagement. Ms. Fitzgerald has been a mentor in the Boston Public Schools Community Service Program since 2014.
Ms. Fitzgerald has also worked at local Boston nonprofit organizations and spent a few years in retail management.
