Katharine Parodi
Postdoctoral Researcher
Dr. Katharine (Katie) Parodi is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. As a postdoctoral scholar, Dr. Parodi contributes to conducting statistical analyses as part of an NIJ-funded research study investigating root causes of bias-based harassment among adolescents. Dr. Parodi’s research also examines temporal trends in youth mental health and factors influencing population-level changes, as well as contextual-level factors contributing to the well-being of sexual and gender minority youth. Her work has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals, including Social Psychiatry and Psychiatric Epidemiology and Journal of School Psychology.
