
Madyson Gibson
Part-Time Instructor
Madyson Gibson is a part-time instructor in the Deaf Studies program at Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. She specializes in educating Deaf students with additional disabilities. In addition, she develops and implements language and literacy plans for students who use American Sign Language (ASL), spoken English, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.
A teacher of the Deaf, Ms. Gibson has taught at the Children’s Center for Communication/Beverly School for the Deaf for six years and has worked as the school’s reading specialist for five years. She routinely gives professional development workshops related to language and literacy planning for complex communicators.
