BU Wheelock MarCom provides graphic design for the college’s general digital and print communications only. If your center, department, or program needs support for graphic design or a website, contact us for information or submit a BU Marketing & Communications project request. Please be in touch as early as possible in your process to discuss the timeline for any projects.

BU Wheelock Templates

BU Wheelock makes available for faculty and staff use a set of templates that follow the BU Wheelock visual brand. Please note with the exception of the PowerPoint template, all templates are made in Canva, a free, user-friendly design application.

Email

Depending on the kind of email you want to send, BU provides several options for templates:

• Use one of the BU email templates provided by BU marketing & communications. Paste the template into the email and edit directly in your email.
• Use BU’s Email Maker.
• To send a broadcast email, use the Broadcast Email Formatting provided by BU TechWeb.

Letterhead

For an e-version of BU Wheelock letterhead, please submit a request using the MarCom contact form.

Digital Lobby Display

The MarCom office manages the digital display board located in the first floor lobby of 2 Silber Way. If you would like to feature anything on the lobby board, please submit a request using the MarCom request form. Please include the graphic you would like presented (graphics must be 1920×1080), as well as the dates you would like your graphic to run. We recommend keeping the content on your digital display graphic brief and to the point, and add a QR code to direct readers to more information.

Photography & Videography

Headshots

Generally once a year, MarCom arranges for a professional photography shoot that is open to all faculty, staff, and doctoral students. We strongly encourage everyone to take advantage of this, especially if you have an older headshot.

If you are not able to attend this photo shoot and need a new professional headshot, contact us to help arrange this.

Arrange photographer or videographer

BU Wheelock MarCom is unable to offer program or event photography services. We can, however, make recommendations regarding BU photographers. Contact us for information or submit a request through BU MarCom. Photographers book up several weeks in advance, so we recommend making arrangements with as much notice as possible.

Pre-approved images

BU Wheelock MarCom provides a set of pre-approved images that you are welcome to use for basic needs. Access these images in this Google folder.
