German Schnitzeljagd (Scavenger Hunt)
On Friday, September 18, the German Program organized a Schnitzeljagd (scavenger hunt) for our German students on campus. 4 teams of 18 students total competed. Each team gave themselves the German name of a fairy tale. To ensure social distancing, two teams each were sent out in 15 minute intervals and they had to complete different tasks around campus, from writing down the address for the German Program and taking a picture at the entrance to asking one of our lecturers where she was from and writing down the name she spelled. Bonus points could also be earned. All answers were sent via email and start and arrival times were recorded – correct answers, the team’s time and potential bonus points were calculated into final scores and the winning was team “Team Rapunzel” – pictured below!
