Along the River during the Qingming Festival Newsletter
The Chinese Language Program arranged a cultural event on February 23rd, 2023 to showcase the renowned Chinese painting, Along the River during the Qingming Festival.
During the event, students had the opportunity to view a reproduction of the 37.8 feet long painting and thoroughly examine its intricacies. Through the painting, students gained a glimpse into life in 18th century China. The attendees were impressed by the painting’s length and the amount of detail captured in it.
The event was organized by Shutan Dong, the Coordinator of the Chinese Language Program, and FLTA Yuan-Jung Chan. Thank you to all who participated, and we hope to see you at future events!
