Salima Slimane is currently an Arabic lecturer at Boston University, where she teaches Modern Standard Arabic and serves as Arabic Language Coordinator in the Department of World Languages & Literatures. Salima has extensive pedagogical experience in teaching Arabic and French at all levels in the Boston area for a number of years. She has taught at Boston University, University of Massachusetts Boston, Roxbury Community College, and the Boston Language Institute. She has earned her Ed.M. in Special Education at BU’s Wheelock School of Education & Human Development. Salima is very passionate about special education and promoting inclusive practices as well as differentiating instruction for all students, and is on the board of Mass Advocates for Children, a private, non-profit organization dedicated to remove barriers to educational and life opportunities for children and youth.
