Woundbiotech: Uncommon Wounds

This is a non-healing leg ulcer in a patient on systemic corticosteroids. It was decided to apply topical tretinoin to stimulate healing. Tretinoin and other vitamin A derivatives have been shown to stimulate ulcers made "dormant" by the use of systemic corticosteroids.
