Each week the show uses humor and humanity to approach food from many angles, including identity, culture, science, history, economics, and lengthy debates on the best way to layer a PB&J. Pashman will be joined by Dan Souza, editor-in-chief of Cook’s Illustrated and cast member of “America's Test Kitchen,” for a conversation celebrating of Pashman's first cookbook, “Anything's Pastable: 81 Inventive Pasta Recipes For Saucy People. The book was inspired by his invention of cascatelli, a new pasta shape that Time Magazine named one of the best inventions of the year. Pashman told the story of his three-year quest to create it in a series of episodes called Mission: ImPASTAble. Copies of the cookbook will be available for purchase from our bookstore partner Brookline Booksmith and Pashman will sign after the show.
