XCC allowed me to work with students and faculty from across the university who I would have never met otherwise. I was able to apply my academic skills and knowledge in a real-world context. When it was time to search for jobs, I was often asked in interviews about the impact of my project. Now that I have returned to BU’s Center for Career Development as a staff member, I find that my XCC experience is as valuable as ever. Whether it’s demonstrating how to list a project on LinkedIn or talking about transferable skills, XCC is always an example of a top-quality experience at Boston University.
