Cathlene is a 6th-year Ph.D. student in the Doerrer Group, with a defense scheduled for September 2023. Her project revolves around the synthesis, characterization (SCXRD, 1H, 19F, and 93Nb NMR, Cyclic Voltammetry, UV-Vis, Evans Method), and reactivity (dehydration of 2° and 3° alcohols) of {Nb(pinF)} complexes. Outside of the lab, she enjoys playing tennis and experiencing new activities, places, and events.
