There are 3 comments on Road to the Oscars: Alfre Woodard

  1. Well, it’s a little bit ironic… Best Picture nominees were 10 when there were maybe not even 5 worthy ones. To “compensate” this, Best Animated Feature Oscar nominees were just 3 although there were probably at least 5 worthy animated films. I saw there were some people on the Web critisizing this year Awards (like these 2 articles, for example, http://www.reviewmaze.com/2011/02/academy-award-nominations-2011-oscars.html and http://www.reviewmaze.com/2011/02/oscar-winners-at-2011-academy-awards.html) but still there is not enough publicity concerning the real problems of the Academy. Most of the folks are just writing about the ceremony and its faults instead of going a little bit deeper on the substantial issues.
