  1. Great video! Thanks to everyone who has kept BU thriving even in a pandemic and thanks to all who are working 24/7 to bring students back to campus.

  2. Last week I was on campus for the first time in months and I was so impressed by how beautiful it looked. It always looks lovely but right now it is truly spectacular! The new landscaping near my building (881 Commonwealth) is amazing. Just one representation of the terrific work done by BU’s essential works.

THANK YOU groundskeepers and all of my BU colleagues who are keeping the university going!

  3. So glad this film was made to call attention
To the needs of all employees at BU
My son Daniel Solworth is an essential
Worker , been steadily working from the start
Of the pandemic and it’s impirtant to know that
Anyone can be affected by it . Keep up the good
Work kudos for drawing attention to this subject
    Sincerely , Shelley Solworth

  4. Our FM&P workers are the brick and mortar of the University, hats off to them for the great work that has never stopped!

    Nice video, thank you!

  5. Another wonderful video from Bill Politis.

Thanks to all the wonderful folks featured and not featured in the video that have kept the wheels of the campus moving since March.

  6. Great video! Thank you to these essential workers keeping us moving and safe. Would have also been nice to see highlights from the other BU campuses here, especially the medical campus where 4th year med students have been back in clinical since June and all of the REALLY ESSENTIAL workers who do double duty as hospital clinicians, public health epidemiologists, and researchers working on a cure or vaccine. Our COVID heroes!

  7. Thank you for this exceptional video that evokes such well-deserved appreciation of the many at BU who have so humbly and with positive spirit given themselves to critical tasks on campus in the face of unprecedented adversity. Please know how much your efforts inspire admiration.

  8. WHAT! The students are coming back? I rather enjoyed pushing the button and having the elevator ALWAYS there. No lines at CVS or Camco is a soon to be forgotten luxury. And then there is parking–I don’t feel guilty taking up two spaces.

I realize we exist for the students. Let’s not make it too obvious to them—just yet. Oh. And I love the concept of doing away with move-in weekend.

I’m Robbie Lohnes, Boston University electrician for 46 years and counting.

  9. Great video! Thank you to everyone in Housing and Residence Life who have always been there to support students, whether they were leaving, staying or coming back to campus!

  10. This is a great video. It’s nice to see the campus again, although very empty. Thanks to all essential workers who have been there since March, too many to name and I don’t want to leave anyone out! You know who you are!! :) Me best to you all!
