Chances are BU students are going to be among the more than 43 million Americans traveling this week for the Thanksgiving holiday.
For many of them, a trip home for the holidays is a welcome opportunity to eat home-cooked meals, catch up with family and friends, and sleep in. But for others it can be a bit strange: suddenly you’re back sleeping in your old room with all those childhood mementos, running into (or trying to avoid) old girlfriends or boyfriends, and having to grapple with curfews.
So, this week’s “YouSpeak” asks: “Is going home for Thanksgiving awkward?”
