Rebecca Feher Tegnelia (CGS’98, COM’00) is a stay-at-home mother of two. Before having her children, she was a publicist, an event planner, a realtor, and a television host. Her blog “is dedicated to all of the mommies (and daddies) who truly have no idea what they are doing.”
Thomas J. Mickey (COM’73) is a master gardener, landscape designer, communication professor, and author of America’s Romance with the English Garden (Ohio University Press, 2013). He blogs about “how 19th-century seed and nursery catalogs influenced American gardening, and how through their words and illustrations we became seduced by the English garden model.”
Steve Chen (CAS’04), an IT professional, sold nearly everything he owned to travel. He has been backpacking around the world, and blogging about it, since June 2010. “From scuba diving to skydiving and almost everything in between, I’m keen to have a go at it,” he writes.
Jen Singer (COM’89) is the mother of two boys, a writer, a blogger, an author, a cancer survivor, and the creator of MommaSaid, “a place for moms on the brink of desperation to laugh and linger.” Jen has been quoted in numerous magazines, newspapers, and web sites, and has appeared on many television shows, including the Early Show, the CBS Evening News, and the Today show.
