GE Compliance Informational Session with Al Rosa, Chief Compliance Director at GE
Al is the Chief Compliance Director for General Electric's global compliance program, a function consisting of ~800 compliance leaders. He oversees Company-wide processes that establish and maintain culture, including leadership engagement, risk assessment, open reporting, training and communications for General Electric’s award-winning compliance program. In 2014 Al was the recipient of GE's Chairman's Award, GE's highest management award. Al has been named 5 times to Ethisphere Magazine's Attorneys Who Matter list, as one of the "top ethics and compliance officers" in the global legal field. He is based at GE’s global headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts.GE typically hires post-grad fellows for its General Electric Compliance Fellowship. This fellowship offers two recent law school graduates with the opportunity to work in-house at GE’s new Corporate headquarters in Boston, MA in its Compliance Department. This is a one-year long paid fellowship, beginning in September after graduation, that allows the fellow to work with the GE Corporate Compliance team function which oversees over 1,300 compliance & ombuds leaders. GE’s award-winning compliance program is responsible for developing & implementing GE’s compliance strategy, and promoting GE’s integrity culture across 8 business divisions, ranging from Aviation engines to Healthcare to Oil & Gas, and 175 countries worldwide. The Fellow will work with the Chief Compliance Director, global compliance teams, & leaders of GE’s businesses.
