Each month our staff creates an entrance display to highlight Pickering items, including our New Books shelf.

Our self-service scanner and our printer connected to the MyPrint system are located here.
Computer Alcove
There are 4 computers available in this area when the library is open.
Classroom / Study Lounge
This study lounge occasionally is reserved for class instruction. The room also houses our collection of curriculum bags for teachers of young children.
Library Coordinator
Kaylee Anzick is our Library Coordinator, leads course reserves services (primarily digital), supervises student workers, and helps with outreach for the library system.
User Services Assistant
Our User Services Assistant leads our display efforts, supervises student workers, and works on access services for the library system.
Quiet Study
Spaces designated for group work and quiet study are available.
Sustainability Resources Center
This space is dedicated to Sustainability and science education. This collection of books, DVDs, and other items help to promote green thinking and action on our Boston campuses and beyond.
Education Collection
Circulating books on all aspects of teaching and learning. Our K-12 textbook collection is separated from stacks on the scholarship of teaching and learning. See also our guides to online and print resources.
Juvenile Collection
Circulating books intended for preschoolers to age 8 begin here and wrap around to the opposite wall.
Young Adult Collection
Circulating books intended for children from ages 12 to 18.
Middle Readers and Graphic Novels
This shelving holds our collection of chapter books for ages 7-12, and also graphic novels intended for all audiences.
Research Journals
Most of our academic journals are available online, and some print copies are shelved here.
