Annual Sue Kim Hanson Lecture in Immunology
Lecture in honor of MED researcher killed on 9/11
The Boston University School of Medicine presents the Seventh Annual Sue KimHanson Lecture in Immunology today, September 12, at noon. Laurie Glimcher, Irene Heinz Given Professor of Immunology at the Harvard School of Public Health and a professor at Harvard Medical School, will give the lecture, Transcription Factors That Regulate Inflammatory Diseases, at the BUMC Keefer Auditorium, 80 East Concord St.
The annual lecture honors Sue Kim Hanson (GRS’92, MED’02), aformer researcher in MED’s Pulmonary Center. Hanson, alongwith her husband, Peter B. Hanson (GSM’94), and their daughter, Christine, were passengers on United Flight 175, thesecond plane that struck the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
