11:25 PM 8020895 11/1/2008 Sat Alpha DRUG, POSSESS CLASS D c94C S34 Court Summons 277 BABCOCK ST Residential COMMON AREA Officer William Donnellan while conducting a walk and talk observed two males standing next to the wall that over looks the soccer field. As he got closer he observed one of the males take out a canvas bag and remove a glass pipe and place it on the wall. He then took out a small plastic bag and began to open it. As Officer Donnellan was standing behind him he recognized the glass pipe as a device that is commonly used to smoke marijuana. Officer Donnellan stopped the parties a check of the bag revealed it contained a green leafy vegetable matter believed to be marijuana. The suspect was informed that he would be summoned to the Brighton District Court for violating M.G.L. 94C-34 Possession of a Class D substance.
10:12 PM 8020894 11/1/2008 Sat Bravo MEDICAL ASSIST / ALCOHOL Judicial Referral 140 BAY STATE RD Residential RA OFFICE Officers Scott Rocheville and Jacob Verge were dispatched for a report of an intoxicated male. Upon arrival we met with the ORL staff who had victim in their office. ORL reported the male was intoxicated and had been disruptive entering and exiting the building. The victim had a strong odor of alcoholic beverages on his person, slurred speech and had difficulty providing information. Mercy Ambulance responded and transported the victim to the Beth Israel Hospital for further care.
9:35 PM 8020891 11/1/2008 Sat Bravo A&B ON POLICE OFFICER c265 S13D Arrest 140 BAY STATE RD Residential COMMON AREA Officers Christopher Zengo and Tom Smith were dispatched for a report of an intoxicated male inside the building. Upon arrival the officers met with the on call RA who stated that he noticed an intoxicated male wandering the hallways and tried to speak with him. The intoxicated male was uncooperative and fled. Officers located the intoxicated male on the fourth floor in the common area. The subject appeared to be unstable on his feet and was slurring his words as he spoke. When the officers asked the subject to sit down, he made an open handed punch at Officer Zengo, striking Officer Zengo on the left side of his face. Officer Zengo did not sustain any injury from the punch. The subject was placed under arrest for assault and battery on a police officer as well as disorderly conduct.
2:00 AM 8020840 11/1/2008 Sat Alpha A&B WITH DANGEROUS WEAPON c265 S15A Other Police 50-75 GARDNER STREET Public Property SIDEWALK Officer William Campanella was flagged down by a male party at the corner of Commonwealth Av and Babcock St. The victim stated that at 2:00 AM he was walking on Gardner St between 50 and 75 Gardner Street when he was shot in the right upper calf of his leg with a bb pellet. There was a break in the skin and a small contusion on the right upper calf of his leg. The victim did not see the suspect at the time of the incident and could offer no further information concerning the incident. Boston EMS was contacted to respond to the scene. Boston EMS a-13 arrived on the scene, treated the victim. The victim refused any further medical treatment or transport to the hospital.
1:45 AM 8020839 11/1/2008 Sat Alpha MEDICAL ASSIST / ALCOHOL Judicial Referral 120 ASHFORD ST Public Property STREET Officer William Campanella observed a male laying face down in the crosswalk on the corner of Ashford St and Alcorn St. Officer Campanella checked on the victim who was unconscious. Officer Campanella was able to wake the victim up. The victim had a bloody nose and small cuts on his face. The victim had slurred speech and was not making any sense while speaking. Officer Campanella detected the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on the victim’s breath. Mercy Ambulance responded and transported the victim to the Boston Medical Center.
1:35 AM 8020870 11/1/2008 Fri Alpha BURGLARY, UNARMED c266 S15 Open 862 BEACON ST Residential DORM ROOM Officers Michael Vanaria and William Donnellan responded for a report of a past burglary. Upon arrival they met with the victim who stated that on 11/1/2008 between 1:35 AM and 3:00 AM while she was out last night her roommate entertained 4 men and at some point her Apple laptop and Apple iTouch were stolen. They then spoke with her roommate who stated that she was at a party in the early hours of November 1, 2008 at 587 Beacon St, 3rd floor, Timeless Entertainment. She stated she had two beers at the party when she ran into two men she knew. She stated the men only stayed for 10-15 minutes and during that time she stated one of the men stated he was going to urinate in the victim’s room. The victim’s room was locked but because of a common bathroom, the victim’s room could be accessed via the bathroom. She stated that one of the men used the bathroom and she didn’t notice that the victim’s door was open and her laptop was missing until after they had left. The victim’s roommate contacted the men and was told they would return the missing items on 11/1/2008. When the items did not get returned the victim contacted the police. The victim stated that her Apple iBook was valued at $1700.00 and her Apple iTouch was valued at $229.00.
1:25 AM 8020835 11/1/2008 Sat Bravo MEDICAL ASSIST / ALCOHOL Closed 168 BAY STATE RD Residential BATHROOM Officer Vincent Noga was dispatched for a report of an intoxicated male in the 2nd floor bathroom. Upon arrival he found the victim conscious and alert at this location. The victim complained of nausea, vomiting, and a lost tooth. Mercy Ambulance responded and transported the party to Beth Israel Hospital.
12:20 AM 8020831 11/1/2008 Sat Bravo MEDICAL ASSIST / ALCOHOL Judicial Referral 700 COMMONWEALTH AV Residential DORM ROOM Officer William Campanella was dispatched for a report of an intoxicated male. Upon arrival, Officer Campanella met with Mercy Ambulance and the victim. The victim stated that he had been drinking at a friend’s apartment but could not recall what he had been drinking. Mercy Ambulance transported the victim to the Beth Israel Hospital for further treatment.
10:25 PM 8020826 10/31/2008 Fri Alpha LIQUOR, PERSON UNDER 21 POSSESS c138 S34C Court Summons 100 ASHFORD ST Public Property SIDEWALK Officers Peter McCarron and Antoine Ramos observed a male party who appeared to be under the age of 21 carrying a 12 pack of Bud Light beer. The male party was stopped by officers. A check of the subject’s identification indicated that he was 19 years old. The subject was advised that a court complaint for being a minor in possession of alcohol will be filed in Brighton
10:00 PM 8020828 10/31/2008 Fri Alpha MEDICAL ASSIST / ALCOHOL Judicial Referral 1019 COMMONWEALTH AV Residential LOBBY Officer Matthew Blakeslee was dispatched for a report of an intoxicated female party. Upon arrival he met with the victim who had been stopped by the Security Assistant because she appeared unsteady on her feet. Officer Blakeslee observed a similar level of coordination when she stood immediately after his arrival. He questioned her and she admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages at about 10:00 PM that evening, but she did not know how much nor could she estimate how much she had consumed. Mercy General Ambulance responded and transported the victim to the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
5:30 PM 8020807 10/29/2008 Wed Bravo LARCENY OVER $250 c266 S30 Open 730 COMMONWEALTH AV Academic OTHER Officer Thomas Gaffney was approached by a victim of a past larceny of a bicycle. The victim stated that he locked his bicycle to a railing on 10/29/2008 at 5:30 PM with a chain lock. When the victim returned at 6:15 PM, he discovered that his chain lock had been cut and left and his bicycle stolen from the railing. The victim stated that his Trek bicycle was valued at $1000.00.
7:45 AM 8020805 10/31/2008 Fri Bravo CRIMINAL HARASSMENT C265 S43A Open 775 COMMONWEALTH AV Commercial STORE Officer Rich Cabral was dispatched for a report of a party being harassed. Upon arrival he met with the victim who stated for the past several of months an unknown older male has been annoying and blocking him from purchasing items inside the Campus Convenience located at 775 Commonwealth Ave.
12:23 PM 22080898 10/30/2008 Thu Bravo LARCENY UNDER $250 c266 S30 Open 771 COMMONWEALTH AV Library LIBRARY Mugar Security officers met with the victim of a past larceny. The victim stated that at 12:00 PM she entered the library and proceeded to the IT area. At 12:23 PM she went to the Print Lab and left her iPod on the table. She then left the building to attend class. At 1:40 PM she realized that she left her iPod in the library and returned to the library in an attempt to recover it. When she returned she was unable to find her iPod. A review of the security cameras proved inconclusive due to the size of the iPod an the number of people at the Print table. The victim stated that her 30 gb Apple iPod is valued at $200.00.
5:00 PM 8020665 10/28/2008 Tue Bravo B&E NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY c266 S16 Open 685 COMMONWEALTH AV Academic CLASS ROOM Officer Matthew Quinlan was dispatched for a report of a past B&E. Upon arrival he met with the reporting party who stated that a Dell 2300 projector was stolen from room 427. The projector was on a portable cart and secured to the cart with a cable lock. The reporting party stated that the room is locked every night at 5:00 PM and opened the following morning at 7:00 PM. There were no fresh pry marks on the door. The reporting party stated that the Dell 2300 was valued $1421.00.
3:00 PM 8020683 10/29/2008 Wed Bravo LARCENY UNDER $250 c266 S30 Open 2 CUMMINGTON ST Academic LAB Officer Tom Smith responded for a report of a past larceny. Upon arrival he met with the victim who stated that at 3:00 PM she had placed her purse on a coat rack which is located to the left of the entry door in the lab. At 6:30 PM when she went to retrieve her purse, she noticed it was gone. The victim said she noticed no one unusual in the area, and checked all trash receptacles in the area, but the search yielded negative results. The victim reports that her purse, valued at $3.00, wallet, valued at $10.00, Bank of America ATM card and checkbook, Citibank Visa, $20.0 cash, MO driver’s license, and a Nokia cell phone valued at $100.00 were taken.
2:00 PM 8020675 10/29/2008 Wed Alpha LARCENY OVER $250 c266 S30 Court Summons 890 COMMONWEALTH AV Commercial STORE Officer Diane Smith was dispatched to Landry’s Bicycles for a stolen bike report. Upon arrival she met with the sales clerk who stated that at 2:00 PM, a party came into the store asking to test drive a bike. The clerk told the subject that he needed to hold his driver’s license for collateral and then he could take the bike for a test drive. The clerk stated that there is no specific paperwork that customers need to fill out. At 8:00 PM as the store was closing they realized that the subject had not returned with the bike and contacted the police. The Specialized Stump FSR Comp bike is valued at $2099.99. A criminal complaint has been filed in Brighton District Court for the subject for Larceny Over $250 c266 S30.
12:30 PM 8020666 10/29/2008 Wed Bravo B&E DAYTIME FOR FELONY c266 S18 Open 700 COMMONWEALTH AV Residential DORM ROOM Officer Peter McCarron responded for a report of a past larceny. Upon arrival he met with the victim who stated that at 12:30 PM he went to take a shower and when he returned at 1:30 PM he discovered that his wallet was taken from his room (909A). The victim stated that he did not lock his door when he went to take the shower and reports seeing no unusual persons in the area. The victim reports that his Luis Vitton wallet, valued at $400.00, Bank of America Visa card, BU ID, Korean ID, MBTA card, $100.00 cash and several personal papers were taken.
8:15 AM 8020669 10/29/2008 Wed Bravo B&E DAYTIME FOR FELONY c266 S18 Open 1 UNIVERSITY RD All Other Locations PARKING LOT Officer Tom Smith was dispatched for a report of a past B&E to a motor vehicle. Upon arrival he met with the victim who stated that he parked his vehicle in the rear lot of 1 University Rd at 8:15 PM. When the victim returned to his vehicle at 3:30 PM, he discovered that the driver’s side window had been broken, and his Garmin GPS device had been stolen.
12:00 AM 8020658 10/24/2008 Fri Bravo GENERAL INVESTIGATION Open 166 BAY STATE RD Academic OTHER Officer Joseph Sirignano received a radio call to with Steve Ellenwood in regards to found remnants of what could be marijuana cigarettes that were turned into his office. Upon arrival he met with Mr. Ellenwood who handed Officer Sirignano an envelope containing the two remains of the cigarettes (roaches). They were contained in a plastic sandwich bag. He stated that the contraband was turned over to him by the director of the pre-school education director, who stated that the contraband was found and turned over to her by a work study student early Monday morning. The contraband was found within the newly refurbished playground area in the rear of 166 Bay State Rd. She further added that has been an ongoing problem and that this is not the first time that contraband has been recovered from the playground.
8:00 PM 8020464 10/25/2008 Sat Bravo B&E NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY c266 S16 Open BEACON ST & MOUNTFORT ST Public Property STREET Officer Joseph Sirignano responded for a report of a motor vehicle that had been broken into. Upon arrival he was approached by the victim, who stated that he had parked his vehicle on Mountfort St across from 820 Beacon St. on 10/24/2008 at 10:00 PM. He did return to the vehicle on Saturday night (10/25/2008) at 8:00 PM to retrieve an umbrella. The victim said that at that time, the vehicle was fine. When he returned to the vehicle on 10/27/2008 at 8:08 PM he discovered that the front passenger side window had been broken. The glove compartment and the center console were open and appeared to have been gone through. The victim stated that he was missing approximately $2.00 in quarters from the center console area. It is believed that the perpetrator may have been looking for the victim’s GPS unit, as the suction cup cradle for the unit was attached to the vehicle windshield. The victim stated that he had removed the GPS unit when he parked
8:00 PM 8020482 10/13/2008 Mon Bravo LARCENY OVER $250 c266 S30 Open 166 BAY STATE RD Residential BASEMENT Officer Daniel DiGiovine was dispatched for a report of a past bike larceny. Upon arrival he met the victim, who stated that he placed his bicycle in the basement of the building on 10/13/2008 at 8:00 PM. He states he was informed by an unknown person that his bike was in the basement of the adjacent building at 166 Bay State Rd. He stated that he checked on the bike and it was there on 10/17/2008 and he left it there. When he returned on 10/18/2008 at 8:00 AM he discovered his bike was missing.
4:30 PM 8020505 10/25/2008 Sat Alpha LARCENY UNDER $250 c266 S30 Open 514 PARK DR Residential DORM ROOM Officer Ron Gately spoke with the victim of a past larceny. The victim stated that his wallet was stolen from 514 Park Dr, room 312B. The victim was visiting his girlfriend who lives at the Park Dr address and he left his wallet on a dresser in the room on Saturday 10/25/2008 at 4:30 PM. When he returned at 8:00 PM he discovered that his wallet was missing. There was no sign of any break and Ms Orr reports she was not sure if the door was locked. The victim reports that his wallet, $67.00 cash, New Jersey ID Card and a Commerce Bank of NJ.
12:30 PM 8020483 10/27/2008 Mon Bravo THREAT TO COMMIT CRIME c275 S2 Judicial Referral 595 COMMONWEALTH AV Academic CLASS ROOM Officer Richard Camillo responded to take a report of a party receiving threats. Upon arrival he met with the victim who stated that after a verbal argument in class with another student, he received a hand printed note of a threatening nature. The victim stated that between 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM, while in room 210 he was using his cell phone when the suspect told him to put the cell phone away. The victim informed the subject to mind his own business. The suspect handed the victim a small printed note which stated, “If we weren’t at school, I would break your nose, smash your jaw, and call an ambulance. You ever talk to me like that again I will find you and put you in a stretcher.” The victim stated that he and the suspect have interacted prior to the incident
00:50 PM 8020439 10/26/2008 Sun Alpha LIQUOR, PERSON UNDER 21 POSSESS c138 S34C Court Summons 275 BABCOCK ST Public Property SIDEWALK Officer William Donnellan observed a large group of people yelling up at the windows of the building and the people upstairs shouting back. As he approached the group a female stated to a male, “watch out for that cop”, and then walked away from the male. Officer Donnellan approached the male and asked to speak with him. He consented and Officer Donnellan asked if he had any contraband on his person. The subject nodded his head in the affirmative and removed an opened bottle of Captain Morgan rum from his backpack. Officer Donnellan asked him how old he was and the subject stated that he was nineteen years old. The subject was asked to produce identification and as he was removing his Maryland driver’s license from his wallet, Officer Donnellan observed a Florida driver’s license in the wallet as well. When asked about the two licenses, the subject stated that the Florida driver’s license was a fake and the one he uses to buy alcohol. The subject was informed that he would be summonsed to Brighton District Court with violating M.G.L. 138-34B False Liquor ID and 138-34C Minor in Possession of Alcohol.
3:12 PM 8020424 10/6/2008 Mon Bravo TELEPHONE CALLS, ANNOYING c269 S14A Open 860 BEACON ST Residential UNKNOWN Officers William Donnellan and Matthew Bouras met with a party who reports receiving numerous annoying texts and calls. The victim stated she started getting unsolicited texts of a sexual nature on 10/6/2008 at 8:20 PM. The texts also included a photo of a male party who identified himself as Devin. She has also received a phone call from a restricted phone number using sexually charged verbiage of an obscene nature causing the victim some alarm. The victim states she does not know this party and has no idea how her phone number was obtained.

MARY’S ST Public Property SIDEWALK Officers John Mahoney and Melissa Lombardo responded for a report of an intoxicated female that fell and struck her head. Upon arrival officers met with the reporting party who stated that the victim had fallen and struck her head on the sidewalk. Fallon EMS responded and transported the victim to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital.

Upon arrival he met with the victim who was lying on a couch in the common area. The victim was having difficulty answering questions. Mercy Ambulance responded and transported the victim to the Beth Israel hospital.
1:31 AM 8020390 10/26/2008 Sun Bravo MEDICAL ASSIST / ALCOHOL Closed 91 BAY STATE RD Residential DORM ROOM Officer Kevin St Ives was dispatched for a report of an intoxicated female. Upon arrival he met with the RA, who was assisting the victim. The victim was vomiting into a sink. Mercy Ambulance responded and transported the victim to the Boston Medical Center.
1:30 AM 8020394 10/26/2008 Sun Alpha MEDICAL ASSIST / ALCOHOL Judicial Referral 273 BABCOCK ST Residential COMMON AREA Officer Antoine Ramos was dispatched for a report of an intoxicated person in the 4th floor men’s room. Upon arrival Officer Ramos observed the victim being followed by RA who identified the victim to Officer Ramos as the intoxicated person and stated that the victim was yelling, vomiting and lying on the men’s room floor naked. Officer Ramos ordered the victim to stop, but the victim was not responding and continued walking. Officer Ramos restrained the victim for his own safety until Mercy Ambulance arrived. The victim had slurred speech and stated he consumed an unspecified amount of alcohol early in the evening. Mercy Ambulance responded and transported the victim to the Beth Israel hospital for further medical evaluation.
11:35 PM 8020317 10/24/2008 Fri Bravo LARCENY UNDER $250 c266 S30 Open 700 COMMONWEALTH AV Residential COMMON AREA Officers Vincent Noga and Antoine Ramos were dispatched for a report of a past larceny. Upon arrival they met with the victim, who stated that on 10/24/2008 at 11:35 PM she was in the common area just outside the security desk on the 4th floor. The victim stated that she had placed several of her personal belongings on the floor and made a phone call. She then stated that she set down her phone and picked up her belongings and went to her room. When she arrived at her room she noticed that her phone was not with her other belongings. She returned to the common area where she remembered setting her phone down and found it missing. The area where she believed her phone was stolen was not within view of the surveillance cameras. The victim reports that her Blackberry cell phone was valued at $200.00.
10:40 PM 8020387 10/25/2008 Sat Alpha LIQUOR, PERSON UNDER 21 POSSESS c138 S34C Court Summons 300 BABCOCK ST Public Property SIDEWALK Officer William Donnellan observed a group of people including a youthful white male exit the staircase across from Officer Donnellan. When the group saw the officer’s marked cruiser, he heard someone state, “watch out there is a cop car over there.” Officer Donnellan stopped the party and asked to speak with him. The rest of the group walked away. The subject had a clear bottle of liquid in his possession that was later determined to Bacardi Big Apple Rum. Initially the subject stated that he was twenty one years old but a check of his ID determined he was nineteen years old. The subject was informed that he will be summonsed to Brighton District Court.
10:32 PM 8020386 10/25/2008 Sat Bravo MEDICAL ASSIST / ALCOHOL Judicial Referral 700 COMMONWEALTH AV Residential LOBBY Officer Tom Smith responded for a report of an intoxicated female. Upon arrival he met with the victim in the lobby area. When asked how much alcohol she had to drink in the evening, the victim repeatedly answered “I’m fine” in very slurred speech. The victim eventually stated that she did not know how much she had to drink, or where she was while she was drinking. Mercy Ambulance responded and transported the victim to the Beth Israel hospital.
6:00 PM 8020366 10/23/2008 Thu Alpha LARCENY OVER $250 c266 S30 Open 82 IVY ST Residential BUILDING Officer William Donnellan was dispatched for a report of a past larceny of a bicycle. Upon arrival he met with the victim who stated that he secured his bike under the back porch on Thursday 8/23/2008 at 6:00 PM. When he came back for his bike on 10/25/2008 at 6:00 PM he discovered that the cable lock had been cut and his bike was gone. The victim reports that mountain bike was valued at $850.00.
3:50 AM 8020333 10/25/2008 Sat Bravo A&B c265 S13A Arrest 730 COMMONWEALTH AV Public Property SIDEWALK Officer Paul Devlin observed a male and a female arguing near 730 Commonwealth Av. Officers John Mahoney and Melissa Lombardo arrived to assist. Upon arrival Officer Devlin advised Officer Mahoney that a witness reported a male was chasing a female towards Kenmore Square. According to the witness the female was trying to get away from the male and was crying. Officer Devlin then observed the suspect chasing the victim across the Essex St Bridge. Officer Devlin stopped both parties and observed the victim was crying and visibly upset. Officer Devlin asked both parties what was going on and they both stated they were fighting. The victim stated that while walking with the suspect in the area of 1065 Commonwealth Av, they began having a verbal altercation. She stated that the subject became agitated and took her cell phone, while yelling at her. The victim stated that the subject then spit in her face and tripped her, and then threw her bag into the street. The victim stated that as this occurred; an unidentified male confronted the suspect regarding this incident. The subject and the male got into an altercation, at which time; the male punched the subject in the face, causing injury to his left eye. After the fight was broken up she and the male began fighting again on the walk back to her dorm room. The subject was advised that he was under arrest for domestic A&B c265/13a.
3:15 AM 8020331 10/25/2008 Sat Alpha LIQUOR, PERSON UNDER 21 POSSESS c138 S34C Court Summons ALCORN ST & GARDNER ST Public Property SIDEWALK Officers Vincent Noga and Antoine Ramos were on patrol in the area of Alcorn St when they observed a youthful looking individual who appeared to be concealing something. The suspect, later identified as the subject passed the officers and they noticed the subject carrying a large clear plastic bottle which contained a clear fluid. Officers approached FINNAN to conduct an FIO. the subject was found in possession of an opened 1.75L bottle of Caldwell’s Vodka from under his coat. When asked how old he was, the subject stated that he was 20 years of age, which is below the legal age limit of 21 for possession of alcohol in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The subject was informed that he will be summonsed to Brighton District Court for Liquor, Person Under 21 Possess, c138, S34C/A.
3:04 AM 8020328 10/25/2008 Sat Bravo MEDICAL ASSIST / ALCOHOL Closed 182 BAY STATE RD Residential DORM ROOM Officer Brian Abdallah was dispatched for a report of an intoxicated party. Upon arrival he met with the victim who appeared to be intoxicated. Mercy Ambulance responded and transported the victim to the Boston Medical Center for further treatment.
1:25 AM 8020323 10/25/2008 Sat Alpha MEDICAL ASSIST / ALCOHOL Judicial Referral 277 BABCOCK ST Residential OTHER Officer Paul Devlin was dispatched for a report of an intoxicated female. Upon arrival he met with the victim who was in the trash room on the 13th floor vomiting into a barrel. The victim stated that she had 4 vodka drinks in a short period of time. Officer Devlin asked how many times she had vomited and the victim replied 3 or 4. Mercy Ambulance responded and transported the victim to St Elizabeth’s Hospital.
12:49 AM 8020322 10/25/2008 Sat Bravo MEDICAL ASSIST / ALCOHOL Judicial Referral 700 COMMONWEALTH AV Residential OTHER Officers Antoine Ramos and Vincent Noga were dispatched for a report of an intoxicated male. Upon arrival officers met with the reporting party who stated that as he observed the victim on Commonwealth Av having difficulty walking. Officers approached the two suspects were asked to produce ID’s. DAVIS stated that he was only 16 years old and that he did not have an ID. The subject produced an Illinois state ID which indicated that he was only 19 years of age. Both parties were advised that a criminal complaint would be taken out and they would be summonsed to Brighton Court for violation of MGL 138/34c/a. Minor in possession of alcohol.

Upon arrival he met with the victim who stated that she had left a small black nylon tote bag in the dinning hall on Thursday10/23/2008 at 6:30 PM. When the victim noticed she had left the bag behind, she returned to the dinning hall at 7:30 PM, but the bag was no longer there. She checked with the dinning hall staff and the security desk, but nothing was turned in. The victim reports that her Apple iPod, valued at $250.00, tennis shoes, valued at $5.00 and the tote bag.

Upon arrival she met with the victim who stated she left classroom 227 at 2:30 PM without her laptop computer. When she returned to the classroom at 3:00 PM she discovered that her laptop was missing. She spoke to the Teaching Assistant who stated he was in the class the entire time and did not notice the computer. The victim reports that her Apple laptop was valued at $1500.00.

Upon arrival she met with the victim who stated he parked his car in the rear of the building at 5:00 AM. When he returned to his vehicle at 6:00 PM, he found the driver’s side window broken. The victim reports that an Apple 80gb video iPod valued at $300.00 was taken from the vehicle.

Upon arrival he met with the security officers in the fourth floor lobby who stated that they observed a female party being held upright and carried by three of her female friends as they approached the check in area to the dormitory. They further stated that victim had to be assisted with swiping her ID card because she was unable to do it herself. Officer Kotkowski then met with the victim who stated that she was sick. Officer Kotkowski could detect an odor of alcohol and there was a trash barrel located at her feet for her to vomit in. Mercy Ambulance responded and transported the victim to the Beth Israel Hospital.
8:24 PM 8020234 10/23/2008 Thu Bravo DRUG, POSSESS CLASS D c94C S34 Court Summons 610 BEACON ST Residential DORM ROOM Officer Tom Smith responded for a report of a possible marijuana possession. Upon arrival he met with the RA, Robert Ribera. Ribera stated that he smelled the odor of marijuana emanating from room 210. Ribera entered the room and met with the parties. When Ribera asked if the subject had any marijuana the subject replied that he did. Ribera also discovered alcohol in the room. Officer Smith met with the subject and asked if they green leafy vegetable matter was marijuana and the subject replied that it was. The subject claimed ownership of the marijuana, a glass pipe, 1.750 ml bottle of Bacardi rum and 1 liter bottle of Smirnoff vodka. the subject was advised he would be summonsed to Roxbury district court on the charges of possession of a class D substance, and minor in possession of alcohol.

Upon arrival he met with the victim who stated that on 10/23/2008 between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM her jacket and cellular telephone were stolen from the first floor women’s locker room. She stated that the locker room has keypad access, but her items inside the locker room were not secured inside a locker. The victim reports that her Northface fleece jacket was valued at $170.00 and an Envy 2 cellular phone valued at $400.00.

Upon arrival he met with the victim who stated that she had parked her vehicle in the parking lot at 12:15 PM. When she returned at 2:00 PM she discovered that the front passenger side window of her vehicle had been broken and several items were stolen from inside the vehicle. The victim reports that her Garmin NUVI GPS unit, valued at $200.00, Canon digital camera, valued at $300.00 and $700.00 worth of clothes

The victim stated that at 11:00 AM, he was changing in the locker room and he left his jeans with his wallet in the pocket on the bench. When he returned at 12:00 PM, he noticed that his wallet was missing from his pants. The victim reports that is wallet, Bank of America Visa card, CA driver’s license, BU ID, T-pass and his health insurance cards were taken.

Upon arrival officers met with RAs. The RA’s stated that they detected the strong odor of marijuana coming from a room. After repeatedly knocking without answer, the RA’s keyed into the room. Once inside, the suspect was found to be lying on his bed. The RA’s stated that while in the room they discovered an empty bottle of alcohol. Officers could detect a strong odor of marijuana, and asked the subject if he possessed any more marijuana. The subject at first stated that he did not, however eventually voluntarily produced a glassine baggie containing several balls of a green vegetable matter believed to be marijuana. The subject was then asked if there was anything else in the room drug or alcohol related. The subject produced an unopened bottle of vodka from a bag. The subject was asked if he possessed a fake ID and stated that he did and then produced a forged Florida driver’s license. In addition to the forged FL license, a female MA driver’s license was observed on the dresser stand. The subject stated that he was going to give this MA driver’s license to a friend to use for procuring alcohol. The subject was then subsequently advised that he was going to be placed under arrest for violation of M.G.L. 94c/34g (possession of class “d”), M.G.L. 138/34c (minor in possession of alcohol), and M.G.L. 90/24B (forgery of a registry document).

Upon arrival he met with the victim who stated that she parked her vehicle on 10/21/2008 at 8:30 AM in parking lot. When she returned at 4:10 PM she discovered that her passenger side mirror had been taken from her vehicle. The victim checked the area around the car for the mirror with negative results. The estimated value of the mirror is $60.00.

Upon arrival they met with the RA who stated that he was informed by the Housing Security officer of a female sitting on the benches and vomiting. The victim appeared to be highly intoxicated (slurred speech and glassy eyes) and when questioned she was unresponsive. Mercy Unit responded and transported the victim to Beth Israel Hospital for further medical evaluation.
10:20 PM 8020100 10/21/2008 Tue Alpha LARCENY OVER $250 c266 S30 Arrest 275 BABCOCK ST Residential LOBBY Officer Vincent Noga was dispatched for a report of a past larceny. Upon arrival he met with the reporting party who stated that at 10:30 PM he noticed 3 to 4 males exiting the building carrying a free standing hand sanitization unit. A second witness saw the suspects leaving the building and watched as they loaded the unit into the rear hatch of a black SUV which was parked on Babcock St. The registration of the vehicle was run through NCIS and the owner of the vehicle was identified. The subject was contacted by telephone, and informed that his vehicle had been linked to the incident. A short time later the subject arrived at the Boston University Police station with the stolen sanitizer. the subject admitted that he had entered 275 Babcock St and knowingly left with the property. He refused to give any further detail about the incident and was placed under arrest for Larceny over $250, Chapter 266 s30.
4:00 PM 8020065 10/17/2008 Fri Alpha LARCENY OVER $250 c266 S30 Open 820 BEACON ST Residential ALLEY WAY Officer Christopher Zengo responded for a report of a past larceny of a bicycle. Upon arrival he met with the victim who stated that he locked his trek mountain bike to a hand rail in the rear of 820 Beacon St with a cable lock at 4:00 PM. When he returned at 6:30 PM he found that the lock had been cut and his bicycle was stolen. The victim reports that his Trek mountain bike was valued at $600.00.
5:37 PM 8020019 10/20/2008 Mon Bravo DRUG, POSSESS CLASS D c94C S34 Court Summons ESPLANADE Public Property OTHER Officer Matthew Blakeslee while on a directed patrol to 23 Beacon St via the Esplanade detected the odor of burning marijuana. Further investigation revealed four male parties sitting on a dock with an odor of burning marijuana coming from the area where they were sitting. Officer Blakeslee approached the individuals on the docks and asked who has the marijuana? One of the parties, immediately produced what appeared to be a partially burned hand rolled cigarette, which also had an odor of burned marijuana. While checking the subject for weapons, Officer Blakeslee also observed a plastic bag protruding from his pocket. the subject immediately surrendered a glass pipe and bag containing residue believed to be marijuana. All parties were immediately cooperative and compliant with Officer Blakeslee. The subject was informed that a criminal complaint would be filed in Roxbury District Court for the possession of marijuana c94c, S34G, Drug, Possess Class D.
5:08 PM 8020016 10/20/2008 Mon Bravo DEFACE PROPERTY (TAGGING) c266 S126B Open 71 BAY STATE RD Residential BUILDING Officer Matthew Blakeslee responded for a report of vandalism. Upon arrival, Officer Blakeslee observed green – colored spray paint on the front door depicting three symbols. Based on his training and experience, he identified one symbol “420” as slang for marijuana use, another symbol as possibly depicting a hand rolled cigarette and another symbol as an eight point asterisk, possibly depicting a marijuana leaf. Officer Blakeslee spoke with the reporting party who stated that he discovered the graffiti at 4:00 PM. Officer Blakeslee also observed similar color spray paint over the front door address number “65” of an adjacent building, 65 Bay State Rd. The symbol spray painted on the door appears to cross out the number “6” and what appears to be the numbers “0” and “8” are spray painted to the right of the number “5.”

Upon arrival he met with the victim who stated that she parked her car across the street from 100 Mountfort St at 5:00 PM. When she returned at 6:30 PM, she discovered that her rear passenger side window had been smashed out. The victim reported that nothing had been taken from the car.

Upon arrival he met the victim who stated that she locked her bicycle with a Trek U-lock in front of the building at 5:00 PM. When she returned at 8:00 PM, she discovered that her bicycle was missing and that the lock had been left behind. The victim further stated that the lock was not broken and still functioning. The victim reports that her Trek 7000 mountain bike was valued at $379.00.

When she returned on 10/17/2008 at 12:00 PM her bike was gone. The victim reports that her Trek 7.2 FX was valued at $519.00.

Upon arrival he met with the reporting party who stated that she parked her vehicle in the parking lot on 10/17/2008 at 2:00 PM. When the reporting party returned to her vehicle on 10/19/2008 at 11:30 AM she discovered that an unknown person had spray painted her vehicle with lime green paint. The suspect sprayed the driver’s side of the vehicle and the driver’s side front windshield.

Upon arrival he met the reporting party who stated to me that her boyfriend was here for the weekend to visit. She further stated that her boyfriend had been drinking and later passed out. She went on to say that prior to Officer Dybantsa’s arrival he had vomited and defecated on himself. Mercy Ambulance responded and transported the victim to the Beth Israel hospital for further treatment. B&G was contacted to clean up the room.

Upon arrival he made contact with the victim who was sitting on the couch in the lobby and appeared to be intoxicated. When Officer Dybantsa asked if she had been drinking, she stated that she had a few drinks early in the evening but she just wanted to go in her room and sleep. Mercy Ambulance responded and transported the victim to Beth Israel hospital for further treatment.
2:21 AM 8019923 10/19/2008 Sun Alpha MEDICAL ASSIST / ALCOHOL Judicial Referral 1019 COMMONWEALTH AV Residential DORM ROOM Officer Paul Devlin heard Boston Police, Fire and EMS being dispatched to 1019 Commonwealth Av for an unknown medical situation. Officer Devlin responded and was directed to room 109C for a intoxicated female who was passed out on the bed. The victim had urinated on her clothes and had vomited blood. The victim did not live at 1019 Commonwealth Av, but was being assisted by the residents of room 109. Boston EMS arrived and transported the victim to St. Elizabeth Hospital.
1:57 AM 8019921 10/19/2008 Sun Alpha MEDICAL ASSIST / ALCOHOL Closed 275 BABCOCK ST Residential COMMON AREA Officer John Mahoney was dispatched for a noise complaint. Upon arrival Officer Mahoney was directed to the grotto area in front of 275 Babcock St and observed a male party who appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance. The male was growling and foaming at the mouth. Officer Mahoney made several attempts to speak to the male but he continued to be incoherent. Officer Mahoney assisted the male party to the bench in front of 275 Babcock St where he was able to remove the wallet from the back pocket of the male party. Officer Mahoney inspected the wallet and was not able to obtain any form of official I.D. Mercy Ambulance responded and transported the victim to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital for further evaluation.
8:50 PM 8019912 10/18/2008 Sat Bravo MOTOR VEH, MALICIOUS DAMAGE TO c266 S28 Open 765 COMMONWEALTH AV Academic STREET Officer Jacob Verge parked department vehicle 595 at 765 Commonwealth Av, near the Law Auditorium at the end of George Hart Way at 8:50 PM. When he returned to the vehicle at 10:07 PM, he observed green spray paint on the driver’s door and driver’s side rear door. It also appeared that the someone had urinated on the drivers side wheels.
12:10 AM 8019843 10/18/2008 Sat Alpha MEDICAL ASSIST / ALCOHOL Judicial Referral 1079 COMMONWEALTH AV Public Property SIDEWALK Officers William Campanella and Anicet Dybantsa responded for a report of an intoxicated female. Upon arrival officers observed the victim being held by another female party on the sidewalk. The party stated that she observed the victim stumbling on Commonwealth Av and almost get hit by a car. The victim was conscious and appeared to be intoxicated. Officers could smell a strong odor of alcohol emanating from her person. Mercy Ambulance responded and transported the victim to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital for further treatment.
10:16 PM 8019839 10/17/2008 Fri Bravo GENERAL INVESTIGATION Judicial Referral 519 BEACON ST Residential DORM ROOM Officer Christopher Zengo was dispatched for a report of minors in possession. Upon arrival he met with the on-call RA Robert Andersen who stated that he had entered the room and found fifteen people inside and beer cans all over the room and a nearly empty bottle of vodka. Andersen stated to Officer Zengo that the residents of room 102 were not present at the time. All BU affiliated students names have been taken for this report as well as the student code violation report taken by the RA’s. Office of Residence Life will handle this incident internally. All non-affiliated parties were escorted out of the building. At no time did the Officer see any body who seemed intoxicated.
9:40 PM 8019838 10/17/2008 Fri Bravo LIQUOR, PERSON UNDER 21 POSSESS c138 S34C Court Summons 196 BAY STATE RD Residential DORM ROOM Officers William Campanella and John Mahoney responded for a possible drug violation at that location. Upon arrival, they met by the reporting parties, Mikhail Kuznetsov and Dana Levin, on duty RA’s for the Upper Bay State Road area. Kuznetsov and Levin stated that they believed that residents in room 202 were smoking marijuana. Officer Campanella went to the room and met with the resident. The subject stated that the alcohol in his room was his and that he had a person not present had bought the alcohol for him earlier in the night. the subject surrendered a 1.75 liter bottle of Old Thompson Whiskey and 11, 12 ounce cans of Schaefer Beer. The subject was informed that he will be summonsed into Roxbury District Court for violation of MGL c138, S34C Minor in Possession of Alcohol. Officer Campanella and Officer Mahoney observed that the apartment windows were open with a large fan in the window.
8:05 PM 8019832 10/17/2008 Fri Alpha LIQUOR, PERSON UNDER 21 POSSESS c138 S34C Judicial Referral 925 COMMONWEALTH AV Commercial AUDITORIUM Officer Edward Shea was notified by arena security regarding a minor in possession of alcohol. Upon arrival he met with the party and observed him holding a plastic water bottle filled with a small amount of orange colored beverage. When Officer Shea removed the cap he could detect the odor of an alcoholic beverage. He asked the subject if he had been drinking and he stated yes. At this time he conducted several field sobriety tests on the subject which he passed. The subject was removed and warned from 925 Commonwealth Ave. The subject will be referred to Judicial Affairs for a student code.
3:30 PM 8019828 10/17/2008 Fri Alpha LARCENY OVER $250 c266 S30 Open BUICK ST & COMMONWEALTH AV Public Property SIDEWALK Officer Anicet Dybantsa was dispatched for a report of a past larceny of a bicycle. Upon arrival he met with the victim who stated to me that he secured his bicycle with a chain lock to a light pole at the corner on Commonwealth Av and Buick St at 3:30 PM. When he returned at 5:15 PM, his bicycle and chain lock were gone. The victim reports that his Schwinn bicycle was valued at $260.00.
3:00 PM 8019833 10/11/2008 Sat Alpha LARCENY OVER $250 c266 S30 Open 915 COMMONWEALTH AV Athletic Facility BIKE RACK Officer Rich Cabral met with victim of a past larceny of a bicycle. The victim stated that on 10/11/2008 at 3:00 PM he locked his mountain bike to the bike rack between 925 and 915 Commonwealth Av with a U-lock, securing the lock between the bike frame and bike rack. When the victim returned on 10/14/2008 at 11:15 PM to get his bicycle, his bicycle and U-lock were missing. The victim reports that his Diamondback mountain bike was valued at $300.00.
2:40 PM 8019818 10/17/2008 Fri Bravo LARCENY UNDER $250 c266 S30 Open 635 COMMONWEALTH AV All Other Locations ROOM Officer Joseph Sirignano responded to meet with the victim of a past larceny. Upon arrival he met with the victim who stated that at 2:40 PM, she was in treatment room #634 setting up to meet with a client and left the room to set up the video recorder. When she returned at 2:45 PM, she discovered that someone had removed her personal Sony micro cassette-recorder from the work table. Five witnesses who were stationed in an adjacent room equipped with a one way observation window observed a student aged Asian female enter the room just after the victim left the room. The female suspect then took the victim’s cassette-recorder from the table and exited the room. The female suspect was described by the witnesses as an Asian female, between 18-22 years of age and wearing a long sleeve orange and red striped shirt. Officer Sirignano was able to view surveillance footage of the incident and a copy of the footage will be forwarded to the department.
