Summer swing dancing at the Boston Harbor Hotel
There’s nothing like dancing under the summer stars to get you over the midweek hump. Every Wednesday night this summer, through August 27, the high-energy big band White Heat Swing Orchestra jazzes up the Boston Harbor Hotel’s outdoor plaza with free swing dancing from 6 to 10 p.m.
A tribute to crooner Peggy Lee, remembered for hits such as “Fever” and “Why Don’t You Do Right,” will take place tonight, July 16. There are a limited number of tables set up for dinner service only, although guests may bring their own food and nonalcoholic drinks for between-dance refreshment.
The Boston Harbor Hotel is at 70 Rowes Wharf. Take the Blue Line to the Aquarium stop. Call 617-439-7000 for more information.
