Look Back in Anger
Alum’s theater group to perform free drama

Students love free stuff — free samples, free food, free T-shirts. And now, thanks to a Boston University alum, they can enjoy free admission to the John Osborne play Look Back in Anger. Performances are Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays through July 6.
The production marks the Orfeo Group’s first “OrFREEo Show” initiative. Founded in 2007 by Daniel Berger-Jones (CFA’05), Risher Reddick (CFA’04), Liz Hayes, and Sarah Golden Martin, the Orfeo Group is a Boston-based performing arts company with seven core members “devoted to cultivating the work of emerging artists in Boston and advancing the vital symbiosis between performer, designer, audience, and community."
Look Back in Anger revolves around the lives of four young, troubled individuals and explores the ways in which men and women love, hate, need, and reject one another. A strongly autobiographical piece based on Osborne’s unhappy marriage, the 1956 British drama spawned the term “angry young men” with its portrayal of post–World War II England.
Look Back in Anger will be playing at the Factory Theatre, 791 Tremont St., Boston, through July 6. Performances are at 8 p.m., except July 4 and 6, at 2 p.m. Seating is extremely limited and reservations are strongly recommended. To reserve tickets, e-mail the Orfeo Group at orfeogrouptix@gmail.com or call 617-747-4460. For more information, click here.
