  1. I took Peary’s film studies course on John Ford and John Huston back in the late 90’s (I honestly can’t remember what year it was, but probably ’98). He was a great teacher and I enjoyed every class. Great to see that he’s doing well and I’m sorry to say I can’t make the event.

  2. Gerry is a good friend of mine, and an amazing man. I am so happy that the Boston community has celebrated his dedication and work to film. As a student at BU, psych major, not film, I had the opportunity to experience a new sort of movie watching, where I met directors, editors and actors and saw realities I may not have otherwise been exposed to – quite different from the cheesy love films I am so fond of. More than that, Gerry is just a genuinely good person, intelligent and supportive, and I am happy to have him in my camp.
