Poets Compete at BU Central for National Slam Presence
BU hosts ACUI regional poetry slam Saturday
BU Central and the Association of College Unions International (ACUI) are teaming up to host the Region 1 Live Poetry Slam Competition on Saturday, February 9, at 8:30 p.m. The competition will determine the team that represents New England and Canada at the ACUI national invitational, to be held in April in Albuquerque, N.M.
Saturday’s event will feature special performances by Jonathan Chin (CAS’07) and local slam poet Simone Beaubien.
