See the Ocean at Its Wildest
New IMAX film takes viewers into the deep
Each year, billions of sardines migrate up South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal shoreline, attracting predators of all stripes: dolphins, seals, sharks—and man. The migration and the struggle to survive are chronicled in the new Museum of Science IMAX film Wild Ocean, showing now through September 2.
With overfishing and global warming changing the seascape, Wild Ocean looks at man’s impact on the ocean and celebrates South Africa’s efforts to preserve the migration by pursuing sustainable fishing practices.
