Terriers Win All Six
Women's tennis rebounds with 7-0 sweep of Cincinnati

The Boston University women’s tennis team bounced back from a tough outing against number 31 Ohio State with a 7-0 sweep of Cincinnati on Sunday, March 30, in Cincinnati. The Terriers improved to 6-5 on the year.
The doubles teams of Francine Whu (CAS’10) and Vanessa Steiner (SED’11) and Yana Sadovskaya (SMG’09) and Liz Corrao (CGS’08) won at first and third doubles, respectively, to give BU an early 1-0 lead.
The Terriers rolled through the singles matches, winning four of the six contests in straight sets. Whu and Cori Lefkowith (COM’09) each dominated in their matches. Whu defeated Alizee Paradis 6-1, 6-1 in first singles; Lefkowith claimed a 6-0, 6-1 win at third singles over Elizabeth Young.
The Terriers return to action on Saturday, April 5, when they travel to North Carolina to play Davidson.
