Widening the Spectrum
BU's LGBTQ community holds annual reception

Interested in getting involved with Spectrum — Boston University’s gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, and allied cultural organization? The group is having its fourth annual welcoming reception Monday, September 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Warren Towers Cinema Room.
Spectrum, with the Dean of Students Office, the Howard Thurman Center, and theOffice of Residence Life, will provide music, refreshments, and "fabulous conversation," according to Spectrum’s Web site.
Spectrum organizescultural, social, and political events, as well as facilitates increasedpublic awareness, tolerance, and support for the GLBTQA community throughout the year. The groupis open to all individuals regardless of sexual orientation,biological sex, gender identity, nationality, ethnicity, race,religion, socioeconomic status, or political affiliation.
