Zinn Headlines Homeless Empowerment Benefit
Tonight's lecture aids Spare Change newspaper

Howard Zinn will headline a benefit for the Homeless Empowerment Project today, June 24, at the Old South Church, 645 Boylston St.
The Homeless Empowerment Project, through the publication of Spare Change News, helps the homeless by providing income, skill-developing, and self-advocacy opportunities.
Zinn, a BU professor emeritus of political science, will speak at 7 p.m. on What a Good Society Would Look Like. The social critic, historian, and writer has written more than 20 books. His 1980 book A People’s History of the United States is a national bestseller.
