  1. What is the projected cost of electricity to operate the geothermal system per year compared to the cost of heating with gas (at the highest price this year and at the lowest)? I hope geothermal systems actually turn out to be efficient and competitive alternatives, not just in large commercial and institutional buildings but also for homes.

  2. This type of heating system must be increased for diversification reasons first of all, as they require no fossil fuels. They are highly energy-efficient, with lower maintenance and operation costs than traditional systems.
    So this is a fantastic initiative by BU and other universities should follow our example.
