Women's Frozen Four being held at Agganis Arena this weekend

Don’t miss the ninth annual Women’s Frozen Four tournament—the 2009 NCAA Women’s Ice Hockey Championship is being hosted by Boston University’s Agganis Arena for the first time ever.
The semifinals start today, Friday, March 20, at 5 p.m. when Minnesota-Duluth goes up against Wisconsin; they continue with an 8 p.m. matchup between Mercyhurst and Minnesota. The winners will compete in the championship game, on Sunday, March 22, at noon. In last year’s match, Minnesota-Duluth beat Wisconsin 4-0.
The weekend includes the Women’s Frozen Four Alumni Game and the USA Hockey Clinic. The 12th Annual Patty KazmaierAward, given to the top collegiate women’s ice hockey player in theUnited States, will also be presented during the championship weekend. Click here for more information.
On Sunday, March 22, at 10 a.m., the Youth of All Ages Hockey Parade with Grand Marshall Jim Craig (SED’79), a member of the 1980 gold medal–winning U.S. Olympic hockey team, assembles at 808 Commonwealth Ave. and begins at 11. Click here for more information.
