Roll the Dice at SMG’s Annual Charity Event
Casino Night will include casino games, live performances, prizes, and free food

Try your luck and win big this Saturday at SMG’s Casino Night, an annual charity event presented by SMG’s student government. The event is open to students and their guests, but be sure to look your best — cocktail attire is required. Best of all, proceeds benefit Boston Medical Center.
Try your hand at blackjack, roulette, craps, and the “lucky wheel.” Bring your “A-game,” because deans and professors serve as the dealers. Winnings can be used to bid on prizes at the end of the night.
If gambling isn’t your thing, enjoy performances by student groups Aural Fixation, Fusion, Terpsichore, Treblemakers, Edge Dance Team, and WTBU’s DJs. You could even get lucky with raffle items that include Bruins tickets, jewelry from Tiffany & Co., a VIP Table at Wonder Bar with a $100 gift certificate, T-Mobile Sidekicks, and more. Finally, don’t miss the free food and a cash bar in the “high rollers” section for those 21 or over.
The CAS Forum, the Student Union, the Sargent Government, and the SMG Government all contributed to this event.
Casino Night will be held Saturday, January 31, from 8 p.m. to midnight in the George Sherman Union’s Metcalf Hall, 775 Commonwealth Ave. Tickets are $10 for BU students if bought in advance, $15 at the door; $15 for non-BU students if bought in advance, $20 at the door.
