There’s a Job Waiting Out There!
Workshop will teach skills to help find that job

Seniors: dreading that all-important job hunt? This year’s class is perhaps more anxious than any graduating in several years. The Howard Gotlieb Center Archival Research Center is looking to help — the center is hosting Go Get That Job! a workshop on job-hunting skills for the new economy tonight at 6 p.m. Experts from various fields will teach innovative interviewing strategies and résumé-building skills to help students develop the tools they’ll need to succeed in a job search.
This informative event will feature a wide variety of strategies, including small group presentations on the “Dos and Don’ts” of résumés and interviews, one-on-one mock interviews, and experts reviewing and critiquing résumés.
Claudyne Wilder, a public speaker, career coach, and author, will hold two executive-level interview-training workshops, one at 6:30 and the other at 7:30. Space is limited to 100 students per session, and students should RSVP to archives@bu.edu.
This workshop is open only to BU students graduating in May. Students attending should bring a valid BU ID and two copies of a résumé. Dress is business casual.
Go Get That Job! will be held today, Wednesday, March 25, at 6 p.m. in the George Sherman Union’s Metcalf Hall , 775 Commonwealth Ave. For more information, click here or e-mail archives@bu.edu.
