Blogger’s Unite: Party Tonight
Overcome your blogger’s block at Thurman Center tonight

Last semester, a wide spectrum of BU bloggers convened at the Howard Thurman Center for the University’s first-ever Blog Party.
The event was such a success that tonight, the BU blog community is invited back to swap tricks of the blogging trade at the BU Blog Party 2: Fighting Blogger’s Block, hosted by the Thurman Center, BU’s multicultural center, from 7 to 9 p.m. The party will have workshops about blogger’s block and allow bloggers to mingle with one another.
Among the blogs that will be represented tonight: the Howard Thurman Center’s BU Cultureshock, the Latino community blog BU Latino, and Mugar Memorial Library’s The Common Discussion.
“The goal of the party is to create an opportunity to network and to overcome the obstacles that come about trying to express your ideas through the blogging revolution,” says Santiago Gomez (CAS’13), the public relations manager of BU Cultureshock.
Gomez also wants to inspire other people to start blogging. “The party is a great way to meet fascinating people you might not have met otherwise,” he says.
BU Blog Party 2: Fighting Blogger’s Block is from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight, September 22, at the Howard Thurman Center, 775 Comm Ave, lower level. The event is free and open to BU students.
