Boston, After Dark
Bicycle tour takes night riders along Boston’s waterfront

Night biking may seem like Boston’s most extreme sport. Pedaling around on two wheels at dusk in a city full of rabid drivers and Volkswagen-sized potholes may be a no-sell for some.
Yet one tour group has found the answer for adventure seekers eager to check out the bright lights and big sights of Boston’s waterfront as the sun goes down.
Urban AdvenTours runs Bikes@Night, a nightly two-hour tour starting at 6 p.m. from the North End. The tour travels along an eight-mile route to sites like Long Wharf, the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway, and the Institute of Contemporary Art.
So get out there, get some exercise, and see what the Boston night brings.
Urban AdvenTours provides bikes, helmets, water bottles, and a tour guide. Tickets ($35) must be purchased online at least four hours in advance. Children and all levels of bikers are welcome. For more information, call 617-670-0637 or e-mail info@urbanadventours.com.
