Burning the Barn Spotlights BU Talent
Vagabond Theatre Group presents alum’s original work

Burning the Barn, presented by the Vagabond Theatre Group, is playing at the Boston Center for the Arts Plaza Black Box Theatre through Saturday, July 17.
The play, written by Bea Wissel (CAS’10) and directed by James Sotis (COM’08), recounts the trials of Lexi, who tries to pick up the pieces of her life after a devastating fire destroys the home she shares with her dysfunctional family. When she’s stranded in what’s left of the home with her estranged sister, her cheating husband, and two strangers, Lexi must come to terms with the people she loves most.
Founded last year, the Vagabond Theatre Group is made up of young actors, directors, and technicians who hope to bring innovative, provocative plays to the Boston community.
Vagabond Theatre Group’s Burning the Barn plays at the Boston Center for the Arts Plaza Black Box Theatre, 539 Tremont St., Boston, through July 17. Dates and times are available here.
