Revving Up for American Cancer Society Relay
Tweet live from the Relay for Life

BU Today will be tweeting live from Boston University’s second annual Relay for Life Saturday night, April 17. Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature fundraiser, and events are taking place around the country.
Teams of BU students, faculty, and staff will camp out at the Track and Tennis Center, with team members taking turns walking around the track. Each team must have a representative on the track at all times during the event, which begins at 6 p.m. Saturday and ends at 6 a.m. Sunday, April 18. Group members have sponsors, and all of the money goes to finding cures for cancer and to fighting the disease.
More than 800 people on 138 teams plan to walk at BU. So far, the teams have raised almost $44,000.
Relay for Life participants can join the Twitter conversation around 6 p.m. on Saturday. When tweeting, include the hashtag #relayBU.

Relay for Life takes place from 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, to 6 a.m. on Sunday, April 18, at the Track and Tennis Center, 100 Ashford St. All money raised supports the American Cancer Society. Donate here.
